SCSI Installer is a software package that includes a disk driver and an installer for embedded SCSI disk drives. Available drivers support most popular embedded SCSI hard disks (Seagate, Miniscribe, Maxtor, CDC, and Connor) and some of the removable-media SCSI drives (Syquest SSS and DTC Take Ten). For fixed-media drivers the installer and driver provide hard partitioning of the drive, a useful feature for dealing with fragmentation on large disks and file servers. The software is intended for disk drive OEMs, Corporate DP/MIS departments, user groups, and do-it-yourself Macintosh users.
